Graphite Lab has open positions of Gameplay Programmer and Interactive Developer.

Gameplay Programmer

Graphite Lab is seeking a versatile, intelligent Gameplay Programmer with a range of development and project implementation experience. Applicants must possess the skills necessary to create quality, easy-to-use code on strict time schedules.

DUTIES

  • Evaluate game designs and identify tasks required to reach a finished product.
  • Design, develop and debug quality code that drives our games.
  • Work cohesively among a team of designers, artists, musicians and testers.
  • Accept and provide direction to ensure delivery of a quality product.
  • Individually tackle game engineering problems and present timely, effective solutions.
  • Take individual responsibility for the successful implementation of programming tasks from start to completion / title launch.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Previously part of a team with a shipped product.
  • Experience with C/C++/C#, Functional and OOP techniques.
  • Experience writing effective, efficient game AI, game physics, networking and other game systems.
  • Experience with 3-D graphics engines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Experience with Windows development environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player able to help the organization reach its company-wide goals.

BONUS SKILLS

  • Experience leading other developers.
  • Expertise with ActionScript and Xcode.
  • Business development experience with writing pitches, bids, and managing timelines.

Graphite Lab is seeking a versatile, intelligent Interactive Developer with a range of development and project implementation experience. Applicants must possess the skills necessary to create quality, easy-to-use code on strict time schedules.

DUTIES

  • Evaluate web and application designs. Identify tasks required to reach a finished product.
  • Design, develop and debug quality code for online experiences such as:
    • Websites
    • Online games
    • Mobile applications
  • Accept and provide direction to ensure delivery of a quality product.
  • Work cohesively among a team of designers, artists, testers.
  • Take individual responsibility for seeing the successful implementation of an online project from start to completion / launch.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Previously part of a team with multiple shipped websites, apps, or online games.
  • Expert knowledge of  HTML, JS, CSS, JQuery, AJAX and XML.
  • Experience involving SQLServer, MySQL, and SQLite.
  • Experience with C#, .NET and PHP.
  • Experience with CMS such as WordPress and Joomla.
  • Facebook app development experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player able to help the organization reach its company-wide goals.

BONUS SKILLS

  • Previous experience leading other developers.
  • Experience with ActionScript and Xcode.
  • Creative eye for design & layout.
  • Business development experience with writing pitches, bids, and managing timelines.
